CSV carries out valuation work in accordance with the principles and methodologies recommended by international institutions in the field, such as UPAV (Pan American Union of Valuation Associations), the IVSC (International Valuation Standards Council) and, as a firm regulated by RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), the RICS Valuation – Global Standards (the “Red Book”). The methodology used seeks above all to remove subjective elements from the valuer’s judgement and to rely on market evidence, with a systematic treatment of information and the use of tools appropriate to each case.
Valuations for secured lending purposes require special consideration to assure the financial institution that the values reported are the most probable in a hypothetical sale within a given period, and that this information is useful for the risk analysis the institution carries out when granting loans.
Our organisation first obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification through TÜV Rheinland Argentina, which marked the start of our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in quality management. CSV currently holds ISO 9001:2015 certification granted by IBNORCA, covering all our processes for the provision of “Valuation services for banks, companies and individuals”, with the aim of providing a better service and achieving client satisfaction.
